These technical shortcomings are compounded by poor user interface design that obstructs essential site features and unreliable connectivity with external services and support portals.

It doesn’t work well with autofill on my iPhone, the fastmail integration never shows up as an option, and there have been several times where I have to flip around through apps and refresh/copy/paste manually. 1Password: Password Manager — Terrible integration The app does not sync well with Firefox nor Safari as apples own native passwords app also confuses this. Passwords wont update and very difficult to use. Waste of money and time, and forget about recovering your account if you get logged out. Incredibly not easy to…

…nd creates duplicates and is generally a visual and input hot mess. Seriously poor integration with touchscreens, massive popups that block fields, unable to get rid of your buttons in favor of underlying site buttons like “display password”, “Save”. Totally flying blind while using it and I am looking to move on…

…ng this app anymore. The ability to add a password no longer works. Unable to connect to the support portal to request help. It used to be great, and then they introduced “pay to access” if you wanted both app and web access, after which it went downhill fast for the app. Definitely Avoid this app now.

Questions about this idea

Is Security & access: Poor integration with autofill and connected apps a startup idea?
Not directly. These are complaints about a product or service people already use, and the fix belongs first to that provider. The page shows what is frustrating users and how badly — not an open market to start a company in.
How many people have this problem?
6 different people described it independently, in 6 mentions, the earliest from 01 Dec 2022 and the most recent from 03 Oct 2026. The quotes, with dates and links to the originals, are in the Evidence section.
Is this problem getting worse?
Status: steady — no change the counts can show. 0 people raised it in the last 30 days and 2 in the 30 days before; the status compares its share of everything collected from the same source, so collecting more or less cannot create a trend.
