App is total trash… AI addition is garbage. Just give people straight forward menus and dropdowns. This is so bad i am actually taking the time to write a review.

The radius of where I can clock in and out is so inconsistent. I’ll check the map and I’ll be well within range to clock in and out but will have to keep walking around and reloading the app before it lets me. Sometimes it will take 5-10 minutes to finally clock in.

By far the worst app I’ve worked with, plus the clock in machine sometimes doesn’t even register your clock in even though it says you’ve clocked in. The two things I hate most is how I have to reset my password often and accept every single paycheck.

Constant change of password

This constant change is password is annoying

Can’t log in right away.

Need to fix that. I’ve had to write in my times in on sticky notes. Not very effective.

Employers why do this to ur employees because of how many times they make u approve ur direct deposit it comes super late I have bills I cant be waiting forever for the money I work hard for if ur an employer thinking about doing this to ur employees don’t this app will make the whole process of getting ur employees difficult and very don’t put ur employees thru that stress it’s a good way for them to quit

Not able to punch in or out at all

So frustrating

This is not at all user friendly. It’s disorganized, redundant, and incredibly frustrating to do simple tasks. For example, I did not work at all this pay period, but still I have to follow at least 5 steps to “approve” my zero hours. If I don’t, Paycom will annoy me for days on end. Why can I not do this with ONE STEP? Instead, I have to navigate through multiple steps to find the obscure area where the zero hours are located to approve. The last system we used was so much easier.

VERIFICATION ISSUES

I VERIFIED MY NUMBER EVERY TIME I LOGIN BUT YET MY VERIFICATION CODE ISNT WORKING . I TRIED TO CONSISTENTLY DO IT AND IT STILL DOESNT WORK EVEN WITH THE CORRECT NUMBERS . TRYING TO CLOCK OUT AND ITS SAYING IM NOT WITHIN THE LOCATION WHEN IM ON THE CAMPUS FIX THIS

Extremely complicated and difficult to use. Hard to get in touch with anyone for support when issues come up. I have used numerous payroll systems over the years and this is by far the worst.

Overview

Unfortunately, there are so many layers, that it is too easy to get lost. Many of the programs are not easy because they have complicated layers and are not well laid out. An example for us is when we do our peer reviews it is not a logical /easy way to understand the process. Extremely frustrating and too many steps that are not necessary. This should be laid out in a much easier fashion and form. It seems like everything is that way and I’m not trying to be negative. But it is very complicated especially when you don’t live in Paycom daily and have to do reviews or other such items that need to be taken care of on a once a week or once every two week time scale. Please make these easier to navigate. It is just not good.

Slow and inconvenient

App responds slowly and requires multiple inputs for what should be single-click items. Forces frontline staff to involve management for functions that should be self-actualized. Seek a different service provider if you can.

Delayed direct deposit

This app is terrible I’m supposed to be getting paid today (mon) but now due to their bad service I won’t be getting paid until tue or wed smh who is going to pay my bills?

Not user friendly.

The clock in and out have a lot of delays and issues where you hit the button and go on your break, only to realize that it never clocked your time so you spend your down time checking to make sure you’re actually clocked out. Then the you put in for a request for time changes and wait instead of being able to make them yourself and gain approval from management. It isn’t the worst but it definitely not easy

No in and out clock for faster

Unfortunately my clock it says it’s not available and I always have to add my hours manually instead of being able to click in and out through the clock which is also faster

Unclear, poor UX and service.

Struggling to do anything as an employee, all of the support thrown on our managers and admins who are disregarded by support. Slow, unintuitive backend. Support we have actually received shows they are clearly NOT committed to a seamless experience. Thanks!

Every button you push takes nearly 30 seconds to load no matter what cellular or WiFi connection. Geofencing is constantly saying that your connection is not authorized even though clearly connected to WiFi

Buggy slow and confusing

The software bugs out all the time, is slow, will clock you in slow when it’s close to the next minute. Confusing menus.

Horrible

if I could give zero stars I would. we consistently have issues with Paycom where it's just common. Sometimes we're clocked out for no reason, hours don't show up or are inaccurate. Twice this week I've had to get time adjustments. Luckily screenshot my time in and out because without it I'd be screwed trusting this app. I wish my company would've stuck with UKG🙁🙁🙁

It needs an update to me … it’s confusing It shows multiple punches if you make a mistake. It needs to delete the ones that are wrong or mis punched

Too complicated

Way too many steps to login and to request a new punch. Also, how about you let me decide when to change my username instead of forcing me to do it every three months.

OMG

I don’t want to be a jerk and hate to be that person but the verification system never! works! I will get the text code, enter it, loads until I get locked out of my account so infuriating

Geofence

The geofence is frustrating. You can be inside the building, even inside the office and it still DOES NOT WORK.

Passwords

Password resetting is awful and you have to basically create a brand new password that each time.

Connectivity is bad

Never wants to connect or if it does it’s about half the time, this isn’t a WiFi problem either it’s the same if I’m using WiFi or cellular it doesn’t load.

Paycom lags

I’ve got a job as a dps delivery driver for amazon and they told me to download this app so I can punch in and out of work ok no problem but this app completely suck it’s incredibly slow and lags like crazy and it doesn’t work properly at all every time I tried to punch in for the day it takes so long to read it makes look like I punched in late for work and when tried to punch in for lunch it seemed like it read it until my dps lead started asking why did you only punch out of lunch I swear this app might get people in trouble and fired without even realizing it, horrible app I wish I would’ve given no stars at all

Bug fixes

It doesn’t let you clock in and out properly a lot it isn’t a smooth running app in the process to get into the app is too much. You shouldn’t have to send a verification email in text message every time you want to open the app.

AI SLOP

This app is used by broke companies that are to poor to afford actual pay roll companies glitches locks you out of the account takes two minuets to open you’ll always be late unless you clock in early to wait for this garbage app to load. And why do I have to approve my pack check I clocked the hours HR is beyond lazy and useless at this point. This app makes people quit jobs

Dashboard is redundant and it has more networking issues then any has been actor in Hollywood. I despise this app

The absolute worst, most janky system ever. If your company decides to cut costs and sacrifice trust in a payroll company, then you should be worried. Not only does this app crash routinely, the actual punch machine lags severely and will cost you time as well as constantly erasing your clock in.
