…o many of my freelancer colleagues and telling everyone to stay away. Now I’m asking for a refund on my annual plan because the customer service is terrible. I’ve been a loyal customer since 2021 and they haven’t helped me out once. With only 10 invoices available per month. There is no mention that checking the…

…ution. I wasted three months of my time setting this up for nothing. QuickBooks may work for some, but based on my experience, they lack proper customer support, flexibility, and empathy. I do not recommend this service to anyone. There are better, more customer-friendly accounting tools out there.

Questions about this idea

Is Accounting & invoicing: Horrible customer service across multiple platforms a startup idea?
Not directly. These are complaints about a product or service people already use, and the fix belongs first to that provider. The page shows what is frustrating users and how badly — not an open market to start a company in.
How many people have this problem?
39 different people described it independently, in 39 mentions, the earliest from 10 Oct 2018 and the most recent from 24 Oct 2026. The quotes, with dates and links to the originals, are in the Evidence section.
Is this problem getting worse?
Status: steady — no change the counts can show. 1 people raised it in the last 30 days and 1 in the 30 days before; the status compares its share of everything collected from the same source, so collecting more or less cannot create a trend.

The Square Invoices app seems to have a major issue with payment caps that can only be adjusted every three months, and 31 people have mentioned similar frustrations with customer service across different platforms. We're curious, at what point do you usually hit the payment cap, and how has the review process been for you?
