This choice was largely driven by a degradation of quality from the platform, with documents unable to sync, deleting themselves after closing, or crashing the app when attempting to export.

This is the last straw for me after a bunch of other terrible updates including forcing everyone onto the cloud (HIPAA anyone??) and of course AI garbage that bogs down the app and that NO ONE ASKED FOR OR WANTED.

Truly terrible taking away features that were already there and that are very common in programs that handle images.

It would have been very nice if my notes could sync between my iPad and my Windows laptop, as that is a feature that Goodnotes 5 (and possibly 6 but idk firsthand) lacks.
