iPhone Duo app?

Looks terrible on the iPhone Duo. Needs to be updated to fit the bigger screen and not just the same standard sizing for iPhones

This is the worst chat platform I have ever had the misfortune of using. The catch up feature is a really bad interaction and doesn't accomplish anything. It doesn't centralize all notifications, only chat. And you can already see your unread chats. Plus it seems to add a notification and still leaves ghost notifications. If you have a choice use anything else. A carrier pigeon, or stretching a line between two cans is a better interface.

Search is broken

Searching for anything on teams, whether app or desktop is awful. Shifts is broken, planner is so half-baked. I so wish I could get away from 365

Duo support needed

The app is terrible on duo but outlook isn’t so get it fixed!

Scammers use the app

I have been involved in identity scam and part of the scam was I had to do a deposition with the New York police department and they asked me to download this app so they could record my deposition and then I had to check in with them every two hours on this app and they were watching me closely. This all started with an airline saying that i was being investigated for insurance fraud. It continued with they said i was a suspect in money laundering scheme and there’s a warrant for arrest. please be aware

Cisco Webex was lot better

No meeting notifications, screen share is worst , feels like like 2000’s video call with choppy text. Cisco Webex was crisp and clear. Guys pls improve.

They suck.

Horrible platform like all Microsoft products. Can’t get into old account. Will not allow recovery options only passkeys. Can’t create a new account.

Resets view every time you switch apps

Just started with Oct release. Enter a chat. Switch apps. Switch right back. It resets your view to the main chat window and now you have to find the chat you were just in. Soooo annoying, especially when you’re needing to copy something from somewhere else to complete a message.

Poor update and connectivity on chat

Chat update is intermittent. It lags behind teams on PC and takes a long time to refresh, if at all

Going from bad to worse

Copying content from Excel /Word messes up the formatting. Strange since both are Microsoft products. How is someone not testing this integration? Sending code in the chat is still a nightmare. Wish they can just copy the functionality from Slack Teams on web is just terrible. Calls don’t always come through.Screen sharing freezes randomly The less said about the scrolling better . When you scroll to the exact message you want , the previous history loads and you loose the message you intended to scroll to in the first place . Basic testing should have caught this. Lastly , you really really need a feature to Pause ( not Stop) Screen Sharing

Teams App is Awful

So clunky, half the time old messages won’t load and it looks like the last message was from 3 months ago… When checking notifications, the “View in Channel” feature is broken most of the time. Videos and pictures take ages to send. It’s 2026… This is one of the largest companies of all time… But shareholders over consumers always, right? So disrespectful and insulting.

I can’t login after creating a new account

Teams now has ads for Microsoft products, but that’s just the cherry on top.

I was notified on a Saturday morning with an advert notification to “Open PowerBI in Teams”. Teams has my working hours info. Why then, can’t you have at least bugged me during my work hours? Or even better, taken the longest walk off the shortest pier? Far from my only criticism, Teams has become a bloated, messy frontend for far too many Microslop 365 services that probably should be their own apps; and if it’s now going to be used to push ads for Microslop 365 services, with no opt-out in settings, I cannot wait for the next service to come along and shove Microslop into obsolescence like Office itself did to Lotus Notes back in the day.

Bug

The 8.18.1 version had a bug where if you are in a chat, go to a different app, when you come back, it will reset you to the teams home screen. Fix it please

Clunky

1. Once a Teams meeting is scheduled on the phone app, it cannot be edited. An error message every time. 2. I was added to a call already in progress, I had no way to view screen and when I attempted to swap to my PC, I remained on the call but there was no call interface window; I had to quit Teams to get off the call. Clunky.

"Bug fixes and performance improvements" forever

In isolation you might think this is okay. Or basically works, despite its quirks. Then, when you see what its competitors achieve - apps that are nimble and actually likeable to use - you realise that teams is bogged down so deep in the corporate mud that it will likely never really shine. Glitchy

Teams is glitchy. And video does not work when you are sharing your screen. Zoom was so much better!

Never stays signed in/doesn’t let you sign in

Ever since IT demanded 2FA every morning, the Team app is no longer capable of providing me with a way to sign in. The chat app from the world’s largest software firm can’t even popup a 2FA prompt to let me log in. It just sits there, say’s we’re having trouble updating your messages and then that’s it! No signin! Pretty terrible experience every day starting work.

Sure I can chat? But which Team was it?

In using my phone as my local install is fubared, I’m waiting for support to fix Teams from an H24 or somewhat update. The iOS app lets you know you have a notification from a Team, but which one??!‽ Yeah it’s a brain dead idea.

Clunky buggy app

Im baffled this has a 4.8. It functioks but it is a buggy clunky app imo. Things always popping up like youre in a call on another device , when i was in a call half an hour ago

App doesn't renew the token

Starting iOS 27, app doesn't renew the token and show error says can't connect So sad that app has such a bug

Buggy

Constant fake notification bubble in iOS. Always shows a red (5) when no new notifications exist. Tap into the app and out and immediately clears. Shows right back up again within the hour.

Skype was better

This app is trash. It’s like Microsoft doesn’t even put money or effort. Most of the time I’m not even getting notifications. I’ll randomly go into the app and refresh it multiple times to see about an update on a new message. If Skype was 5g… this app is like dial up. Simply garbage

Bad quality

I don’t know if it’s just me but I cannot screen share my screen or see what the other person has shared or sent in chat. It’s lowk getting on my nerves. Fix this!!

Ripped Off From Slack

Microsoft if garbage, absolute trash, they never once had a single original idea. All they do is rip people off and force their AI Spyware garbage down our throats. Buy a MAC or use Linux. I spent 12 years in IT and I can’t STAND what Microsoft has become. Everyone who works there should be ashamed to work there. Come up with an original idea for once.

Significant bugs since the 8.16 version

For the last two weeks, Teams apps that have a bot component have not worked. Opening the chat interface from the app will start a loading spinner which does not stop, and the conversation history does not load or show newly received messages from the app bot. You can access the app bot conversation if you come into it through the main Chat menu. But it does not work in the context of the app itself. This is the case for apps with just a bot, an app with a static tab pointing to the conversation entry point, and apps with other tabs when you use the robot button in the header to open the chat conversation.

New catch-up feature is awful

Mandatory new catch-up feature makes important new updates and messages buried behind a single separate notification tab. Please provide an option to disable this feature so all new messages are prominent and in reverse chronological order like they used to be with one notification per new message.

Mute Doesn’t Work

Conversations that are muted send notifications, sounds, and vibrations anyway… which is particularly annoying in the middle of the night. Should also have the capability to set priority contacts that you can still receive notifications from when Focus mode is on.

“We are having trouble updating your messages.” Complete trash. Never works.
