…an old app, and it looks and feels that way too. Absolutely terrible. I have to manually input the code every time which is a pain. This is supposed to make life easier. Not harder. Salesforce, you’ve failed with this app. You’ve failed hard. You buy reviews because you’re a bad company. This app doesn’t have the 4…

…n account. The Salesforce Authenticator is tilting towards the later. Super slow approval notifications in the app. Back up works some of the time. Every time I go to log in to Salesforce I have about 75% confidence I’ll actually be able to get in. Until they get my confidence up to 100%, this stays at 1 star.…

…ailable and on my persons is a good way to make me hate your service. I was already unimpressed with Salesforce as a platform but this requirement is garbage. I will only pass on the negative experiences I have with this service to other people in the hopes of persuading others to never use this platform.

Questions about this idea

Is Frustrating multi-factor authentication and login requirements a startup idea?
Not directly. These are complaints about a product or service people already use, and the fix belongs first to that provider. The page shows what is frustrating users and how badly — not an open market to start a company in.
How many people have this problem?
6 different people described it independently, in 6 mentions, the earliest from 09 Dec 2021 and the most recent from 18 Aug 2026. The quotes, with dates and links to the originals, are in the Evidence section.
Is this problem getting worse?
Status: quiet — no new posts in the last 60 days. 0 people raised it in the last 30 days and 0 in the 30 days before; the status compares its share of everything collected from the same source, so collecting more or less cannot create a trend.
