Email: Email spam filtering issues

Users are experiencing significant issues with email management, particularly with excessive spam filtering that allows too much junk mail to reach their inboxes. This problem persists despite attempts to correct it, leading to missed important emails and dissatisfaction with the email service.

7 different people have complained about this since 23 Sept 2024, most recently on 10 Sept 2026.

Email - Edison Mail — Terrible — No matter how many times you mark something not spam it continues to be delivered to spam, no matter how many times you block someone in spam they are back the very next day, causing you to have over 500 spam emails in a day or 2, i’d give it zero stars if I could

Email - Edison Mail — spam It says “no more spam” so I told them I still got spam, and apparently “Our app has zero control over which spam messages end up in your inbox or spam folder, no email app does”. Which is not what “no more spam” means to me.

Questions about this idea

Is Email spam filtering issues a startup idea?
Not directly. These are complaints about a product or service people already use, and the fix belongs first to that provider. The page shows what is frustrating users and how badly — not an open market to start a company in.
How many people have this problem?
7 different people described it independently, in 7 mentions, the earliest from 23 Sept 2024 and the most recent from 10 Sept 2026. The quotes, with dates and links to the originals, are in the Evidence section.
Is this problem getting worse?
Status: steady — no change the counts can show. 0 people raised it in the last 30 days and 1 in the 30 days before; the status compares its share of everything collected from the same source, so collecting more or less cannot create a trend.
