What each release brought

Complaints per App Store version, newest first, with the issue reported most against it. A new version has had fewer days to collect complaints, so compare what is reported more than how much.

    Account setup is backwards

Should allow me to setup an account before I enter all my personal preferences. That way when your account creation process has an error I don’t lose everything and have to start over. In my case I gave up.

  • user·f66aApp Storev1.0.4916 Sept 2026on the store ↗

    Little value

Was baited into downloading the app through online ads making me think it was free, when in reality it’s a “free trial”. So now they have all my personal data and information before asking me to sign up for the trial. Immediately deleted the app. Why would I pay money for easily accessible information. Just learn how to read nutrition information, it’s easy.

    Another Subscription Scam

Don’t bother, they put you through this stupid 21 questions game first, then they block your access until you pay up. Already deleted the app. ✌️

Pricing is hidden - not a free app

“Free” app but nothing is actually free to use. Very misleading. Pricing is hidden several pages after creating an account. No free version. No free features. I’m sure I’ll get spam from them for years now. You tricked me this time! Also this app told me my set goal of losing 40 lbs in 4 weeks was a reachable. Why is that an option? That is not a truly realistic or safe goal.

  • user·cf96App Storev1.0.4908 Sept 2026on the store ↗

    AI APP

FIRST THINGS First. app Looks AI generated. After putting all of your information including gmail it makes you pay for a subscription instead of just popping up first thing, which is super dumb and annoying. after thinking it would be a decent app.

  • user·d145App Storev1.0.4907 Sept 2026on the store ↗

The absolute shadiest company on the App Store! DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!

Let me start off by saying the app itself is terrible, created by a 3 year old, it does not work like the videos advertise. It’s purely a money grab app to feed money into the pockets of the developers knowing this app was created with ChatGPT with no customer support to back it. The app developers will auto charge you even when you cancel the free trial. Then when you request a refund they will deny any affiliation to the charge. Apple has changed their rules about refunds forcing you to request refunds by app developers. But menufit believes that they can deny all refund requests because of Apple not approving these refund requests. DO NOT LOSE MONEY TO THIS SHADY APP!

Would like to give it 0 stars.

Another bad app that makes you waste all of your time taking a quiz, creating an account, “loading the results”, just to lock everything behind a paywall of $50 a year or $20 a month. Also, 0/5 stars for all of the AI slop photos shoved into this app. Made me realize I could just go ask Claude or Chat for the same thing people are paying this app for. Give. Me. A. Break. 0/5

    Poor Calorie Data

I tested this out and it was wildly different from the calories being mentioned in a different app so I took the data to chatGPT which said that MenuFit was way off based on the restaurant’s own food information. I wouldn’t trust it.

  • user·4632App Storev1.0.4803 Sept 2026on the store ↗

    Doesn’t Load

The app was great when it worked, but now it’s stuck loading on the MenuFit screen. Disappointing because I paid $48 to use it. They won’t even let me delete the app, so I’m not sure what to do now. I would not recommend getting this and being stuck with a useless app on your phone

Charged me 40 dollars for a free trial

    Deceptive advertising

  • user·4585App Storev1.0.4802 Sept 2026on the store ↗

    Scam

Product is a subscription, there is no “free” vs “premium” as described in App Store. Legit a scam.

  • user·57e0App Storev1.0.4801 Sept 2026on the store ↗

    Not worth the money

Would never pay for this subscription. Seems like it could be somewhat useful once in a while but not for a subscription based item. Also the options they give you are sub par and the search ability is bad

  • user·be71App Storev1.0.4801 Sept 2026on the store ↗

    1/10

I hate that I have to pay to be healthy

  • user·62f1App Storev1.0.4801 Sept 2026on the store ↗

    Terrible

Makes you select a bunch of foods you enjoy on a menu then it forces you to make an account to use, then subsequently forces you to sign up for a subscription locked 7 day free trial in order to see your recommended food orders that you just spent time personalizing(or in my case clicking every food they list). If you decline the offer it will then try with a 14 day free trial. Refusing this renders the app useless as it has no content at all for free users. Bummer

    Scam

After downloading the app for a free trial, the app assures you that you’ll be notified before you get billed. It doesn’t at all. I was charged by apple for the year. I immediately asked to cancel since I didn’t really use the app and honestly forgot about it. I asked support for a refund they said there is nothing they can do about it. Yeah right! I hope this review helps someone else. YOU WILL BE CHARGED NO MATTER WHAT!!! Do not download.

    Paywall Dark Pattern

Don't waste your time and get paywalled.

  • user·55deApp Storev1.0.4829 Aug 2026on the store ↗

    Not Helpful

This app is not very helpful. Downloaded to for better suggestion to be more healthy. Well, not much options for restaurant. It suggests how to pick “healthier” options form fast food restaurants despite my city having multiple healthier local, family owned restaurant. I thought the whole point of the app was to avoid fast food yet it’s suggesting fast food or places that use unhealthy ingredients. Deleted as soon as I saw PF Chang, McDonalds and Din Tai Fung as options.
