Videos Restarting

Videos are continuously starting over when watching through background play/ picture-in-picture. Ads will cause the video to restart, leaving it paused too long causes it to restart, headphones dying causes it to restart. It’s becoming more unusable each update. This has been going on for well over a month.

Modern additions aren't that good

More people have to be outspoken about how garbage modern YouTube additions or features can be. Half of what they add is stuff to make shorts be more like TikTok. If I wanted TikTok I'd just use TikTok?? And the other half is some ai slop feature that's more annoying than it is informing or entertaining. NO I don't want ai generated chapters and ai generated chapters to be retroactively added to old videos (why is this on by default??). NO I don't want an ai summary of the comment section, I'd just read the comments?? NO I DONT WANT A SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO IM ALREADY WATCHING IT. It's one thing to complain about ads and monthly subscriptions, but these are free features that actively make the site/app worse and I would imagine they're costing a lot to just keep up with and apply to every new video. YouTube doesn't NEED to be developed further, everyone's using it anyway??

TOO MANY LONG ADS

YouTube is filled with so many long unskippable adds now days. It seems the ads are just getting longer and longer and it’s becoming unacceptable. The ads basically went from 15 seconds to 60 seconds over night !! It’s ridiculous to expect someone to watch a minute add for a 3 minutes video. At this point you be paying me to watch with how long and frequently ads are. I sure do miss the old YouTube, but hey it’s all about the corporate greed.

Too many ads

There used to be like maybe 1 or 2 ads every video but now I’m getting 2 at the start 2 in the middle and 2 at the end on a 6-12 mins video I this that’s a little to much.

Accidentally keep swiping right because I’m not perfectly vertically swiping which closes my search and the video I was watching and now I get to start my search from the beginning. there seems to be no way to disable this “function” Truly annoying

I believe YouTube keeps increasing the ad frequency and isn’t going to stop anytime soon. They really know how to target you with adds for predatory gambling sites (kalshi, etc). And the sheer volume of adds enraged me enough to come here and write a review… sucks cuz they already have a content monopoly and nothing will change

New update is trash

It automatically mutes the video when my AirPod falls out and now I have to open the app to turn the volume back on. Why the hell would anyone want this. Change it back or let me turn it off

Sticky advertisements are unamerican

Get rid of the ad banners that stay on the video after the ads. I already have to watch 2 ads to start the video and 1-2 more in the middle depending on how long the video is. Now I also have to “dismiss” and additional ad banner after every batch of ads it’s ridiculous.

too many adds per video, lost its core feature of being. site where you could watch stuff freely and feels worse than TV with too many ads and most add just being stupid ... fix ad to video ratio, cause ten adds dispersed in one 20 minute video, all being unskipable and long, is completely unnecessary and irrational

Downloads overheat the phone

I’ll have my phone in airplane mode during a flight so I can listen to audio (not video, AUDIO) while my phone is locked, and my phone practically turns into a flame. It’s been going on for years and these scam artists at YouTube refuse to fix it

Stop with the ads they are annoying and I don’t care about them I just want to watch my videos and having the fade out after the ad done isn’t helping😡 Can the size go down when looking through a YouTuber video I don’t like seeing big boxes

Subscription feed is broken

Hopefully this is just a bug but if you tap on an individual channel in Subs you can’t get back to the combined list without closing and reopening the app.

New UI is terrible

I absolutely hate the new UI that was put in recently, makes any non-short videos incredibly hard to see and dofferentiate from ads. It’s on the homepage and the subscriptions, awful!!!

Quảng cáo quá nhiều chưa đc 5 phút là xuất hiện 2 cái quảng cáo, mất dạy hơn Youtube cố tình code làm cho một số ngày ko thể ấn nút bỏ qua quảng cáo mà phải coi hết quảng cáo hơn 15 giây. Đội ngũ của Youtube đang quá coi thường người dùng và cố tình code chức năng bỏ qua quảng cáo để gây khó chịu buộc người dùng phải mua gói Prenium.

Gói premium lite quá tệ

Chuyển từ premium sang premium lite dùng thử , quá tệ, vẫn có quảng cáo và không phát được dưới nền, phí tiền!

không thu nhỏ video được, tự dịch VÔ DUYÊN

thường xuyên không thu nhỏ video để vùa xem vừa dùng app khác, phải pause play lại mới được - tựa đề video và nội dung liên tục tự dịch mà không hề xin phép, không thể tắt được - dịch thì vô cùng tệ mãi không fix lỗi này

Mới cập nhật hay bi lỗi. Nhà phát triển nên sữa lai . Thưa bản cập nhât trước.

Ứng dụng

Toàn quảng cáo, ít tiện ích miễn phí, không có tuỳ chọn xu hướng người xem, quá chậm cập nhật các tính lăng mới

Muốn xem 1 video thì phải xem trước 3 cái quản cáo, làm gì củng nghĩ tới người dùng 1 chút có khi xem 1 cái video thì có tới 6 7 cái quản cáo rất là mất thời gian mọi người cân nhắc trước khi dùng nha
