Warning - you cannot cancel their subscription

This app charges you after a 7 day free trial and then makes it impossible for you to cancel the subscription. The subscription does not appear in your phone subscription’s section, in your Apple account , and when you contact them they say they can’t help you. I had to call my bank to get it cancelled and charged back

Be careful!

When you use this free scanner, be very careful. When you open the app, it starts with an advert. Once you navigate that, the scanner appears. When you scan the QR code, it doesn’t take you to the where you want to go. The initial link takes you somewhere else. Some of these links are scammers and fraudulent “subscription traps (as called by my bank’s fraud team).” You have to close the initial link to access your link.

Too many adverts, very annoying. The most annoying ones are the ones that take up the whole screen.

Worst Reader ever

Add lies not free The most disreputable supplier I have run across in this app store. The app is not free. The trial period is free. I will not recommend this seller to anyone, not even to an enemy.

You couldn’t have more ads if you tried.

I just want a simple dumb barcode scanner and this app is far from it. The amount of ads makes it unbearably slow to use

Unusable, literally non stop ads that aren’t dismissible not sure how this was even approved by Apple. Jokers.

Used to love but no more

I used to love this app and I had the pro version. I just cancelled it due to the ads. I probably wouldn’t have minded them but it was the kind of ads where they have x’s so small or light that you can’t get out of the ad as it try’s to force you to get whatever product it is for. It was a great product but they ruined it.

Supports limited number of formats, wants money for no reason

Pathetic

The batch scan function doesn’t work property and needs to be regularly switched on again. Each time you scan you need “Close” the Scan Window before scanning the next item. The output export requires each item to be individually selected as there is no “select all” option. - Pathetic!

Spam central

Non stop ads popping up in the middle of the flow, impossible to exit. This isn’t an app, it’s a way to harvest your data or trick you into a subscription. If it actually delivered the developers wouldn’t have to deceive their trial users.

Unusable due to ads

So many ads the app isn’t usable. When they finish they don’t disappear even when you click the x. Predatory amounts of ads

Garbage Porn App

This app was clearly hacked because when you install it, it just brings up porn and tries to send you to porn websites. Absolute garbage.

Doesn't work

Didn't work for any of the 2 QR codes I needed scanning. "Open browser" button does NOT work. And too many ads. Stupid to have a subscription service for a vital app.

Completely overpriced

Seriously, who will pay $40/month to scan bar codes… this is double the price of my invoicing software. Whoever marketed this was an idiot, you just lost an interested customer. I’ll pay for Netflix, Disney plus and Amazon Prime instead…

Very angry lady

I downloaded this as it said free then asked for payment I deleted it straight away then today you have taken £6.99 out my bank then say no refunds I did not agree for this payment it’s disgusting

Don’t waste your time

Spent 10 minutes trying to scan a code and just got constant pop ups. Downloaded different app

Not as good as it was

I downloaded this app for free and it still seems to be free, but whereas it was very quick and efficient to react when it sees a QR code it’s not that good now. Several ads constantly pop up some wanting me to subscribe; others saying I have a free trial. I’m not the slightest bit interested! When I try and scan a code it now takes several minutes to work! Not impressed!

Shady purchasing practice

I see I am not the only one this happened to so it shows me we are being ripped off by “trying out” this App. I NEVER pay $12.50 for an App. Much less one that does so little. My camera can do this without an App so why would I buy this? I didn’t, yet I was charged $12.50 for a month!! If I had to scan the inventory at Walmart I couldn’t justify this cost. Don’t expect Apple to help you with this either. I contacted the day I was charged for this to say I didn’t mean to purchase but they didn’t even care. WARNING BEWARE OF THUS SHADY PRACTICE OF FORCING A PURCHASE WITHOUT ANY CONFIRMATION OF THE CHARGE AND NO REFUNDS OR CANCELLATIONS REVEN FOR MISTAKES.

5+ seconds of ads per scan, even when it doesn’t recognise the barcode. Still makes you wait and think it did. Genuinely awful software

Adfest with Fake Reviews?

Easily the worst app I’ve ever used, tried to scan 10 barcodes and 3 times I had to wait 5s an ad in between to ask me if I wanna pay $14. Gotta navigate through all the secret pop up closing buttons to actually use the app and on top of that - why is there some reviews that say this app is terrible with pop ups and ads but gives it 5 stars? What an awful app

App is basically unusable. Keeps trying to be smart rather than just scanning the barcodes and putting them on the clipboard or elsewhere. Spams you with ads and “upgrade offers” repeatedly. Not even worth your time to try out.
