Slack — Really frustrating to use — Unfortunately I have to use this for work. I used to use the call function a lot, I suppose Slack don’t want people to use the app that way so they have changed calls to ‘huddles’. Now when you call some one you can’t see it ring. It the adds you to a ‘huddle’ which is an empty…

Slack — Very poor — Slack used to be ok, but it’s now bad. The app is slow to update, so it still displays unread notifications for items that have already been read on desktop. As for huddles, don’t even get me started. I’m guessing a junior in the product team (or someone from marketing) said “I know let’s take…

…ack — Trashy Service Clearly an AI platform because it doesn’t work. This is probably the worst workplace app I’ve used. Rarely send me notifications at the right time. Replying in thread is one of the most painful ways to keep track of a conversation. Browser version it awful and fails to load on the regular. If I…

Questions about this idea

Is Slack Really Frustrating Poor Worst a startup idea?
Not directly. These are complaints about a product or service people already use, and the fix belongs first to that provider. The page shows what is frustrating users and how badly — not an open market to start a company in.
How many people have this problem?
8 different people described it independently, in 8 mentions, the earliest from 13 Nov 2017 and the most recent from 22 Oct 2026. The quotes, with dates and links to the originals, are in the Evidence section.
Is this problem getting worse?
Status: steady — no change the counts can show. 2 people raised it in the last 30 days and 0 in the 30 days before; the status compares its share of everything collected from the same source, so collecting more or less cannot create a trend.
