I got a subscription and my account got deleted and I didn’t get paid back

Poor Customer Service

I had scent bird for a few months, the scents are good and last longer than a month. However the customer service is poor, there is no representative to speak to it’s all AI. Not only that the text messages spam you constantly and it’s never anything useful just trying to get you to spend more money. The perfume I wanted was out of stock and instead of notifying me before going to the next purchase it just automatically charges your account and goes to the next scent. This is not good business practice and before any transaction takes place I believe it should be confirmed with the customer first. Will not be purchasing again, the better option is to go to your local retailer test a perfume and purchase the whole bottle you will actually use and like than guessing every month anyway. Save your money. 👍🏼

Worst app. IN THE WORLD

NO WAY TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION FROM THE APP SO IM TRYING TO LOG IN ON THE WEB AND ITS REDIRECTING ME TO THE APP. IT JUST STOLE $36 BRO I DIDNT SIGN UP FOR ANYTHING THAT COSTED THAT MUCH IT SAID 8.95 WHEN I SIGNED UP FOR IT. I HAVENT HAD MONEY ON MY CASHAPP CARD AND DID NOT PLAN ON RENEWING MY SUBSCRIPTION YET SCENTBIRD TOOK IT ANYWAY. YOU ARE A FRAUDULENT APP. TERRIBLE. THERE IS NO WAY TO CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION IN THE APP. NO WAY TO REMOVE YOUR CARD. FRAUD APP. IVE SEEN IT DO THIS TO OTHER PEOPLE TOO. YOU BETTER GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK THROUGH THIS DISPUTE OR I WILL BE HAVING EVERYONE I KNOW LEAVE TERRIBLE (VERY TRUE) REVIEWS. GET IT TOGETHER

HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE

I got a defective spray, reached to their AI BOT and it suggested that I sent an email. I did just that and a week later no response whatsoever I reached back out and they guided me through the same process, can’t reach a human. Threatened BBB and suddenly my replacement was sent that same day. Canceling is insanely complicated as well

They’re a joke in the half of his fraud and biggest scam

They’re joking half they will give your money back at all. I’ve been waiting for three days. No response. Do not order nothing from them. They’re the biggest scam biggest fraud.

Unable to unsubscribe

Don’t give them your credit card information I have been trying to unsubscribe but they just keep telling me I can “take a break” instead of letting me unsubscribe! Use a gift card or something because they make it insanely difficult to unsubscribe and take off your card so they can’t charge it.

Possible improvements

I love my Scentbird subscription and being able to add different fragrances to my queue. I wish there was a way to heart your favorite fragrances and see all of the fragrances you add to the queue. It currently only allows you to see 36 and if I want to rearrange my fragrance and bring a recently added fragrance from the bottom of the queue to the top I can’t. I have to delete some of the choices just to see the recently added fragrance and I don’t want to have to to that..

Terrible company!

Don’t bother with this company at all! I had to block them from emailing me and harassing me after I cancelled because they told me to go ask all my neighbors where my package was for a few dollars worth of fragrance instead of just shipping out another box. Rude customer service!!!

Subscription problems

It was an impulse buy so i subscribed for like 2 months before wanting to cancel it but when it said i canceled it- it skipped one month and charged me again. So i went in and tried to cancel it again making damn sure i didn’t press skip a month and it did it again. Today I woke up to another charge to my account and when i went in AGAIN to cancel it will only give me a choice to skip a month. This company is a scam.

Multiple and Unwanted Credit Card Charges

I keep getting multiple charges on my card, and I don’t have auto-pay. Not only that, but it’s multiple charges sometimes in one day!! I haven’t even reactived my subscription for a few months now. And although my card has been charged, I haven’t even been getting anything sent to me!! That’s why I didn’t notice my card was being charged until physically checking my bank statements.

It’s been a month and my missing order still hasn’t been fixed

I had my monthly subscription at the beginning of the month and I was supposed to get the perfume weeks ago they said they shipped a replacement but still haven’t seen that either and I’m getting the run around with AI and can’t get any real help supposedly a ticked had been created but it’s been a week and nobody has tried to contact me do not use Scentbird unless you have extra money you can afford to lose because you won’t get it back if your order never shows up.

Beware - they make cancelling impossible

I am now going through my SECOND round of emailing support (the only way to cancel once you’ve signed up bc the cancellation steps they tell you to follow in the app do not exist). They keep charging my card and I’ve honestly never dealt with a company that has this level of shady hidden cancellation practices. Beware before you sign up!

Being charged extra

I am being charged $19.48 a month when it’s supposed to be $17.95 a month 😡

Won’t open after logging in

After logging in, I am directed to a page that says it is verifying the device and requested content will be available after verification, it loads for a second, has a green check mark, flashes to what looks like being logged in and then back to verifying again. I am stuck in this loop and unable to use the app. Negative rating!

They will steal from you, DONT SIGN UP!!

I was charged $94 after three months of paying $9 so their promotions aren’t promotions, they give you the stuff for that price then at the end of the subscription term (say three months) they charge you pretty much full price and steal your money anyway, cancelled twice with them and they’re still charging me, first time didn’t get a confirmation, second time I did and was just charged again

Disappointing experience

Scentbird is a complete scam. I’m on the regular subscription plan, but they charged me $25 and then sent me my fragrance without the sprayer case. What am I supposed to do with just the refill vial? The whole point of the service is being able to use the fragrance with the case they advertise. Not only was I overcharged, but they couldn’t even send the complete product. For the amount they charge, you’d expect basic quality control and customer service. Instead, I received an incomplete order and felt like I got ripped off. Very disappointing experience, and I won’t be continuing my subscription. If you’re looking to try fragrances, I’d recommend MicroPerfumes instead. They have way better prices than Scentbird, you can buy samples directly without being locked into a subscription, and you know exactly what you’re paying for. After this experience, I’d rather order from a company that offers better value and actually sends a complete order.
