They thought 10 to 15 was not workplace efficient they needed to make the load time longer. You used to be able to go to your schedule and say clock in for this client. No that doesn’t do that anymore you need to clock in twice before you clock in but you have to tell it which client it is now. you used to just be able to click on your schedule and it would clock you in for that client. Now you click on the schedule then you go to a screen where you can clock in and then when you clock in you have to say which client it is and then it won’t clock you in because the app sucks and then you have to clock in a second time. Also clocking out is a coin flip. I will clock out and then wake up the next day and find out I’m still on the clock. I don’t know why you did this. The app worked and it worked very well. Did an executive one day just say hey guys I have a great idea let’s make the app suck now. Let’s piss everybody off! \n\nWord around the water cooler is the company is firing all their programmers and making the ones who are still there go through this whole process of trying to prove why they deserve their job before they get fired and the big dumb executives think why don’t we just have AI break the application for us? As an employer I cannot count on it, employees easily exit the app, turn off background refresh and despite tracking being required to be set to “always” it does not track them in real time. Easy to work around it to defeat it.  The way it should work is that the app simply refuses to cooperate with the user until all mandatory settings to ensure real time tracking are set correctly, and, as soon as a user changes the settings, the app needs to inform the user that they are officially clocked out until they restore the correct settings. Then employees could be held accountable. The breaks feature is lacking as well, it should remind the employee to clock back in after the mandatory min 30 mins expire for a lunch break. Switching jobs and clocking out is often confused depending on the sequence used and results in inadvertant entry changes that are very difficult to fix. There should be an undo button if a mistake is made. Fixing clocking intervals if a mistake has been made is super painful. Each “leg” needs to be fixed individually and error messages are annoying and unhelpful when overlaps occur. It should instead allow resolution of the overlap by informing exactly what time the overlap occurs rather than having to exit and try to see where it is. This app is a constant source of complaint with my employees and due to the challenges - ends up not serving its purpose accurately.  It is not a coincidence that all the positive reviews are from before Intuit bought TSheets. In the last few years this app has been 2 star at best.\n\nEdit to the response: the developer response is not helpful because there is no training issue, the issue is not with the settings. Now every single job is just there which is literally thousands for my company and I can’t know for certain I am even putting in the right job because some may have the same or similar names under different contractors which was very clear to see before this update. They changed the date select so now I have to memorize the dates I worked when I input my time instead of showing the month calendar that made it very easy to quickly and easily select the date I need to input time by showing the day of the week. Now it’s a M/D/Y scroll wheel for whatever reason with no indication on the day of the week I’m selecting. Our company we only just put in duration on jobs on timesheets because it’s much faster and easier (well atleast used to be) than clocking in and out if we go to multiple job sites a day so I’m very frequently putting in time sheets for previous days because we may have the same job multiple days of the week so I just don’t do it until the end of the week. This makes that an absolute nightmare. You think we are going to remember what date last Wednesday was? I don’t even know what today’s date is half the time. Also why are we adding 1 minute to the duration by default? What happened to the 8 hour default time duration? Why is that even something you would change? Every time sheet I put in not only do I have to select the hours which I wouldn’t need to do if I had worked 8 on one job because it was defaulted to 8, but I now have to roll back the minute to 0 every single time I put time in. Why? Literally why? Who is working 1 minute so often that it has to be default? I get that it’s defaulted to something because you can’t input 0. But then why did you get rid of 8 hour default then? Even if I don’t work 8 hours on that customer it’s easier to scroll a couple hours back than have to scroll the hours all the way up and scroll back a minute every single time just because 1 minute is mandatory? Also constantly likes to add my timesheets twice almost every other input I make so I have to delete them and sometimes deleting them breaks the app and I have to restart. Also likes to sit and load every time I click on the date or customer and the only way to fix it is to restart. Overall absolute trash you need to go back to the old UI. No need whatsoever to make these disgusting changes. There were almost no issues with the previous build. It’s funny that you updated it, then reverted it back presumably because of how horrible it was and I got excited that I didn’t have to deal with this mess and now it’s back.
