They provided zero explanation, zero customer service, and zero help in any given problem that was 100% on their end. * one client paid his invoice with a credit card that he was not authorized to use or that was stolen. I didn’t even find out that there was an issue until square reverse the charges and took over $5000 out of my business banking account without my authorization. No phone call no heads up no communication. We simply sent an invoice to a client. He paid with a credit card on his end. Yet square tried to hold us responsible even though we had nothing to do with the situation. I understand they claim to be following protocol, but enabling fraud or chargeback abuse while offering zero protection for service providers is not acceptable.\n\nImagine if every dishonest client knew they could get work done and then dispute the charge and the processor would take their side without question. It’s devastating and wrong.
